On the First Friday of every month, the typically laid-back streets Downtown Phoenix transform into a bustling block party filled with live music, street artists, street preachers and food trucks. The event brings thousands of people downtown; naturally, finding parking is impossible. I find that no other event can truly exhibit the diversity of Phoenix's population as First Friday; it's a night when the creativity and passion of the community is impossible to ignore.
